With two hands crossed in his chest, Don Kanonji boisterously laughs as if tomorrow will never come. He’s a popular spirit medium and prides himself in sending restless spirits to heaven. Or so he thinks.

Whenever in front of camera, he never fails to show off little of what he knows about spiritual world. In real life though, he has a big yellow streak at his back. In fact, upon discovering that he’s the reason why spirits turns fully into a hollow and created one that attacked him, he hides behind Kurosaki Ichigo for his dear life.

But in all fairness to him, he can indeed summon spiritual power in a form of a tiny golden light ball, which he calls, Golden Kannonball. This miniature light ball moves in an oh-so-slow pace upon release. Surprisingly and amazingly, it has an explosive power. Well, great things come in small packages as they say.

His TV show rating is actually suffering and is constantly decreasing. So he comes up with a new racket by forming Karakura Superheroes consisting of Kurosaki sisters, the kids at Urahara shop and Kon as their mascot. The ploy seems to be of no effect whatsoever.
