Hyorinmaru Biography (Zanpakuto Bio)

The Hyorinmaru owned by Hitsugaya Toshirou is a ice and water type zanpakuto. It is rumored to be the strongest ice element zanpakuto. In its shikai state there is a crescent blade concealed at the base of the sword and it has the ability to freeze large areas. In addition Hitsugaya Toshirou can call a dragon shaped blast of ice from his zanpakuto.

In its bankai state the Hyorinmaru joins with Hitsugaya Toshirou to turn him into a half ice dragon and half human hybrid. He has three "ice flowers" on his back that show how long he can keep his bankai up for. In his bankai form he can use the water in the air to freeze even larger areas of land than in its shikai form.
