Noba starts off in Bleach as a mysterious guy sporting a mask, which triggers everyone’s interest. (Which also makes Bleach fans search for his pictures without mask online. So Kakashi!) His gigai is that of a young lean man with blue eyes. Though at start, he seems to be just obeying commands from Lirin. After Urahara unveils their purpose, Noba reverts into a turtle plushie in gray pants and white ruffled shirt to help Kurosaki Ichigo.

Aside from detecting Bounts, he has the ability to create wormhole that is useful in deflecting his enemy’s attack and even redirecting energy shoots in their faces. He also has the power to teleport himself and others to locations he’s been to.

Noba is a skilled fighter who gives his all in a fight. One memorable clash with a Bount has split Noba’s shirt open and ripped part of his mask which showed his red hair. A large number of intensive nosebleed cases among Bleach girlfans had been reported because of it. So memorable!
