Sode no Shirayuki or Sleeved White Snow is owned by shinigami, Kuchiki Rukia. The release command is “Dance” or “Mae”, which will transform the sword into a beautiful white katana with a ribbon on its hilt. (A refreshing sight after seeing Mayuri’s zanpakuto.)

Its power, which is bounded to the snow and ice element, is divided into three abilities Rukia named “dances”. "First dance, white moon" forms a circle around the opponent and freezes everything inside it from the ground upwards, reaching even the sky. It is followed by "The next dance, white ripple" that blasts an immense wave of ice from its white blade. "Third dance, white sword”, is the finishing move yet the reserved one. It has the ability to reforge her zanpakuto if broken and can slice through any object in its path and freeze anything in its vicinity.

The bankai form is still unrevealed. This zanpakuto is considered the most beautiful snow and ice sword in Soul Society.
